PBBC is co-exhibiting with the following Johannesburg academic and community based organizations: IFAB (International Federation of People with Albinism and Blindness), DACN (Diepsloot Arts and Culture Network), Wits School of Planning and Architecture- Yeoville Project, BuildCollective.net, Proudly Diepsloot, Boundless City, Sophiatown Cooking Club, Bontle Ke Thlago Diepsloot Recycling/Buy-back Centre, SDI South Africa Alliance, 26’10 South Architects, Diepsloot Community Radio sloot fm, Legadima Personnel, Food and Trees for Africa.
PBBC builds on the work of the Global Studio educational program which worked in Diepsloot, Johannesburg from 2007-09. To mark this collaboration, the exhibition opening will also launch a three week public program to showcase community projects, and build community, professional and academic networks in Johannesburg.
